After an embarrassing campaign full of mishaps, misinformation and proof that the former Alaska Gov. isn't suited to hold any political position (remember she couldn't name a U.S. newspaper she regularly read) polls are showing that it's finally time Palin set politics aside and returned to Alaska.

A CNN poll indicates that even most republicans don't want Palin to run for president in 2012. Can you blame them?

Listen, I understand Palin does great work and has a great following among the bible belt and older women of the south. But let's set religion aside for one second and ask if she's best suited to go head-to-head with the Putin's, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's, Kim Jong-il's and more. NO!

Just watch the Katie Couric interview with Palin one more time. SHE CAN'T NAME A NEWS SOURCE...WHERE DOES SHE GET HER NEWS?????

1) Charles Gibson To Palin..."Do you agree with the Bush Doctrine..."

Palin: "In what respect Charlie"

Gibson: "What do you interpret it to mean"

Palin: "uhh...his world view"

2) Katie Couric To Palin: "Give me specific examples of McCain pushing for regulation"

Palin: "I'll try and find ya some and I'll bring 'em to ya..."

3) Katie Couric to Palin: "Just curious..what newspaper or magazines did you regularly read before the campaign..."

Palin: "I read most of them with a great appreciation for the press."

Couric: "what ones specifically, I'm curious?

Couric: "Can you think of any"

Palin: As a VP I would be only in a position to support the law of the land as it reads today.
