Church EVICTED from land "too close to olympic site"

Can you believe it?

A church has been evicted from a plot of land that officials say is too close to London's 2012 Olympic village.

What do you guys think of this?

I think these are astonishing developments in the wake of global terrorism and the global financial meltdown. At a time we should all be turning to God the UK's gov. is denying everyone that right.

Please sound off in my comments section...Should this be allowed?

Oh by the way...

The church I'm speaking of is a mosque...If you were fired up because you thought a Christian church was removed from this plot of land then surely you're just as upset that an Islamic mosque has been removed.

My point here is to prove that many of you couldn't believe that a Christian church had been removed from the Olympic site but wouldn't give two thoughts to a mosque being removed.

Is that right?

I think anyone should be allowed to worship wherever they want. That's America, Canada and democracies around the world.

I'm Christian and have no clue what Islam is even about. But removing a mosque from a plot of land because it's close to an Olympic site is just wrong. That's not how we act in the west. Let's hold ourselves to a higher standard....

  1. What reasons are they giving? This is stupid. How could it effect what is going on with the olympics?

  2. I believe they are telling the Islamic community that they were practicing their illegally for a while without permit before they had the idea of building the moque. So now that they want to build it they are denying it?

    Either way..something is fishy..
